Freeciv is a Free and Open Source empire-building strategy game inspired by the history of human civilization.
Civilization free download - Civilization IV v1.61 patch, Civilization III 1.29f patch, Age of Empires, and many more programs. Sid Meier's Civilization is one of the most popular strategy games of all time. It was created by Bruce Shelley and Sid Meier, alongside MicroProse. The game was released in September 1991 for MS-DOS, Amiga, and Atari ST. Here is the video game “Civilization: Call to Power”! Released in 1999 on Windows, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. It's a strategy game, set in a managerial, turn-based and 4x themes and it was released on Mac.

- 31st Dec 2020 - 2.6.3 is a generic bugfix release in the stable 2.6 series.
- 27th Nov 2020 - 2.6.2.1 is a bugfix release in the stable 2.6 series, fixing critical build failures and crash bugs.
- 15th Feb 2020 - 2.6.2 is a bugfix release in the stable 2.6 series, mainly improving the clients.
- 18th Dec 2019 - Two new bugfix releases of Freeciv: 2.6.1 and, for those still playing 2.5, a final 2.5.12 release.
